tire pressure matter?

Does anyone have experience showing hp gain/loss regarding tire psi on a dyno. I humbly ask b/c only had 18psi w/ MT ET streets when tuned and completely forgot until just now (2 wks later) DOH!

yeah bigger tires with less psi will show lower on the dyno. Raising psi in tires is a little dyno trick from what I hear and it makes sense.

Its hardly a trick...its physics. Go push your car with flat tires...then try it with 32psi...rolling resistance! The less deflection in the tire, the more energy, or HP, gets to the roller. Keep everything consistent while testing...tire psi, tranni temps, coolant temps, beginning RPM/MPH, ect....

and dont do like some guys and pump them up to max pressure just to dyno. I like to dyno how I run it on the street, 25 psi in MT DRs.

I would be interested to see the difference though
