dynoed my 04 m6 gto i have slp lt headers, slp lm1 catback, and k&n fipk. i dynoed with these mods and a tune at 326rwhp/335rwtq. I was wondering if these numbers seemed kind of low. btw it was on a dynojet at val's peformance in RLB, IL if anyone has ever went there. I was expecting like 335/340 or am i wrong??

so you figure i gained about 24rwhp from lt headers,catback,intake,and tune??? still doesnt seem right thought i would of gained 30+ rwhp. idk they said their dyno just got recalibrated and that it was right on. Also what other little mod can i do to pick up some extra rwhp? i am going to guess hiflow maf, better plugs/wires, and underdrive pulley??
Chris, did you dyno the car before all of the mods? That would tell you what all of that stuff netted. I bet that you picked up a bit more than you thought. Every car is different and some are just stronger than others. You would think they would all be about the same but that just isn't the case. Don't get hung up on dyno numbers, they are not a perfect science. You might come in in November and pick up 5 hp or something just because it is less humid? It should be adjusted, but how accurate is it really. Who knows? Take her to the track and see what you picked up.

well, my buddy rick's99ls1 on here had his car dyno tuned at val's performance. he ran a 12.9 before the tune on street tires his first time at the track and it runs better than ever now. he put down 322rwhp/334tq and he has longtubes, ory, a few free mods and a tune, basically the same as me. I am not unhappy whatsoever, i think val's did a great job on the tune and i would take my car back there. so there ya go i thought he would have dynoed a bit higher than me but it was basically the same. Ill just have to take it to the track

Just had my 02 auto ws6 dynoed a week ago in 90 degree weather. With lid and smooth bellow I made 303.5 rwhp and about 312 rwtq. I was a little disappointed but it was humid as hell outside so that may have affected it. This dyno run was after I seafoamed the car and put in some royal purple and it feels like a different car. Before I did ANYTHING to the car i ran a 13.6 and it was kind of a bad run cuz I wasn't ready. I'm thinking that I'm definitely gonna be low 13's now. Like everyone else said, don't let the dyno numbers get you down. If you do well at the track then who cares what you put down.
