Default dyno today

Finally got around to doing a dyno today and wasnt really impressed with the numbers. Mods are in the sig. But I did not have the injectors or fuel rails on the car. It was hot as hell also the dyno was run at 1:30 in the afternoon in hawaii. Maxed the stock injectors out and had a conservative tune.
The real results were 405hp and 393tq corrected was 415hp and 405tq.

Depends on the setup. My bother has a set of Patriot heads, and a 226/228 .581/.581 cam with supporting mods on his 2002 Z28 and he only made 405 rwhp and 375ish torque.

Yes, I would say they look a little low.

The numbers ScreaminRedZ was referring to were actually a 224/228 .581/.588 113LSA with ported LS6 Patriot heads that made 405/367 on a dynojet, but the car has a stock tune in it (needs to be retuned, obviously); and it also does not have the 90/90 setup you have.

Did a respectable person/shop tune your car? I'm sure the stock injectors were holding you back, also.

The cheater cam is designed for stock manifolds, not for long tubes, you really need to swap in a new camshaft. Overall I don't think that the #s are that bad.

I know i need a new cam the heads and cam did not flow well together untill about the 4500+ rpm range and the shop that did the tuning Is a good shop but not a big time tuning place.

That seems low for a stick. I'm an A4 with tsp stage 2.5 5.3 heads,tr224/112cam,ported fast 90/90 and put down 417rwhp 407rwt. I would think with a stick you would do much better.

you have higher compression heads and a better cam for the heads. Thats were My numbers killed me was the heads and cam dont flow well untill late in the power band.

I think for the mod you have you are about on par. with a tune you should net another 10hp or so and that would put you at 425 which i think is a good number for that sized cam. the cheater cam is not a Max effort cam so don;t expect to be on the higher end of the cam/head dyno numbers.

I have a tune that runs me up to 430hp to the wheels but that is only good for nights or early mornings here in hawaii due to the heat and my car not liking it. thank god for having the ability to run multiple tunes.
