Default Low Bolt-on Numbers

Ok so I got the car tuned a couple weeks ago and was pretty dissapointed. I put down 326/338 on my baseline, and 332/351 after the tune. Both numbers are SAE corrected and these runs were through the cutout. My AFR pre-tune was about 13.45:1 and it was 13.1:1 post tune. My mods are in my sig. The next day I found out my number 8 spark plug was loose and wobbly, it was ticking really bad, we originally thought it was an exhaust leak. I also cleaned my MAF sensor and it was pretty dirty. Im thinking about getting it re-tuned this coming week since all my plugs are tight and my MAF is clean now.

I was hoping for about 345/355 after the tune. I figured I would baseline about 330/340. Is there something wrong with my car?

Take it back and re-dyno now that you have your car in order. I take it you don't have any track times yet? Remember, dyno numbers aren't anything more that just that, numbers. But yeah, go back and re-dyno, and get out to a track and see what kind of trap you're putting down. The dyno might say you're only putting down 332, but if you're trapping 110, who cares.

Yea this is true. I want to go but just haven't found the time. With just a cutout and volant CAI I trapped 104, and that was with a 2.3 60 ft.

Remember that all cars don't make the same power, or run the same. What type of dyno was this on? Dyno Jet? Mustang?

I had a very similar setup as you while still bolt-ons. I had the Hooker catback, Pacesetter longtubes, TSP ORY, lid, and self ported TB. The car layed down 354/373 and trapped 113mph running 12.30s in the 1/4.

Go ahead and see what it does with the MAF cleaned and the plugs straightened out. If your still not satisfied, hit the track and post up your trap speed along with the density altitude for the time of your run.

This was on a dyno jet. Ill post the dyno sheet just for the hell of it. Sounds like your car is a freak.
