Default Patriot 226 tuned!

I haven't scanned the graph yet but the car makes great low end torque. 360ft lbs by 2200rpms and pulls it to 6400. Power comes on very smooth and pulls hard to the redline.

The car made 350whp and 370ft lbs with IAT temps reading almost 100 degrees in very humid weather. I was also running a paper air filter.

How much power do you think i will pick up with the K&N i just added, and the ls6 intake im getting this week?

by the way this was all done on a dyno dynamics dynomometer.

10 to 15 rwhp if weather permits. Extremely good tq numbers by the way.

What it make stock. I think you know the answer........I don't think the dyno type is in question. I think you picked up 40-50 with a baby cam.

those numbers seem kinda low IMO, but its really hard to say w/o knowing your baseline???? with the LS6 intake and the filter plus a retune you might see 370 rwhp

the car only base lined at 295.0whp and 310 ft lbs stock on about a 15 degree cooler day. I've sinced changed the filter to a K&N and will have the ls6 intake by this weekend. I'll post up the graph tonight. The torque is killer for such a small setup and really comes on early. Like i said temps were real hot, humidity was high, it was a far drive from my house so car was pretty warm. I think with the ls6 and now the k&n i should see 370ish +/- some.

oh and btw i would HIGHLY recommend howard at redline for anyone in the northeast looking for a tune! Really reasonable pricing, he's fair, and most importantly he's really good. He took car of every driveability problem ive had with the car right down to tuning it for a/c hot starts. Thanks again redline!

i'm tuning it myself, so i havnt gotten on the dyno yet, still playing around with the drivablity stuff first before i start going WOT on it, my learning toy basically

the k and N won't add any power, but the ls6 intake will give you another 15 rwhp.

Very nice gains. Thats a very good cam I used to run it myself.

Now get a real intake and retune!! Dont just put the intake on and race around. You wil be lean. I think you will pick up a solid 15rwhp . i may have missed it but do you have a pulley?

stock intake, stock pulley.

from what i've heard the k&n is a noticeable difference from a paper filter. Havent had it back on the dyno since just a filter swap, and dont plan to. I'll definitely have howard make some corrections when i swap the intake though.

the lid is what makes the difference if the filter does it is very minimal.

whats the point of that? For 90 dollars and five minutes you could have better gas mileage and pick up 10 rwhp?? Its a no brainer bro.

that and i'm still waiting on someone to sell the TSP style lid, but since no one wants to let go....i hold out

and damn 5 minutes?! i got that puppy down to 30 seconds

whats so great about the tsp style lid? when gm high tech put the lids against each other the MTI one put down the best numbers?
