427 L92 results...
A couple of months ago I asked a shop to build me a good engine for my camaro for street/strip use.
We decided to use an L92 block and make it a 427ci engine. We went with L92 stage 3 heads and a custom cam.
The compression ratio came out to be 11:1. They just called me and told me that they had finished dynoing the engine (on an engine dyno, not a chassis dyno).
The results were 600 HP and 490 Ft-lb at the flywheel.
What do you guys think of these results?
The cam was designed to be a moderate cam as the car will be primarily used in the street.
Thanks for your input.

my numbers are only 20 / 20 shy of yours and i'm using 243's and a much smaller (unmatched) cam..... i was thinking of going ls7, but for 20 horse, the money definitly isnt worth it. I could probably make those numbers with a different cam, ported fast and a pully... no offence of course those are still awesome numbers for any street car.
I thought gen 4 combo on a cubed motor did upwards of 600rw?

Only pulls to 6k due to the L76 intake. It falls off hard after that. With a better aftermarket intake should be able to pull to 7k and get a little more out of it. Waiting on FAST or an affordable sheetmetal.
