how long should I wait?

how long should I wait? I just bought a 11.5-1 Iron block 408 from texas speed it has -10cc diamond pistons,eagle crank,h-beam rods, texas giant cam (248/254 622/611 114) PRC stage3 LS6s (2.08 1.60) ported fast 90/90, EWP,ati pulley and all the little crap...
anyway I have a "safe" mail tune in it for now how long should I wait till I take it to the dyno for a good tune? and about what kind of power should I be looking at? it will be going threw a th350 with a 4000 stall

imo i would drive it around for a couple hundred miles varying the load/rpm and change the oil and hit the dyno. numbers through an m6 should be over 500 rwhp so i'd guess somewhere in the 440 - 450 range.good luck. are you going to hose it also ?

I really hope I geta little closer to 500rwhp my stock block heads cam motor went 411 (locked) threw a A4 this will be threw a th350 and alot more motor but who knows with my luck it will be about 200rwhp..also yes im gonna spray it with about 300 once its broke in good

You will definately have a track demon on your hands. Not a dyno queen by any means but who cares. You'll run 10's on motor I bet. Take it easy on the new motor for a few hundred miles and break her in with varying loads. Then change the oil and hit the rollers. Please post track times when available. I am pulling for you to hit 10's on motor with the right tire. Good luck.

the dyno really means nothing to me all I care about is the track if it runs in the 10s on motor that will make me happy...but my real goal is to get into the 9s on spary..the rest of the car is set pretty good 9",coilovers,ect. so I think I should have a good chance
