I'm thinking about adding the afr 205s or trick flows 215s to and a fast 90/90 combo to my car and trying to figure out how much power 3 would be adding. thanks in advance

I would go with the Trick Flow heads. I have seen a few cars with them and they are a very good head. Good Luck

I would highly suggest the AFR 205's milled down to 59-60cc's depending on the lift of your 228/232 cam. The TFS heads seem to require more duration to make close to the same numbers as the AFR's paired with a smaller duration cam. So trying to match a pair of heads to your existing combination I would suggest the AFR's. The AFR's hit hard on the street and seem to provide better low end and mid range numbers than the TFS with a smaller duration cam. LGMotorsports has some dyno numbers on their website of several cars that have AFR 205's paired with their G5X1 cam which is a 228/232 cam. I believe this combination of AFR's, 228/232 cam, and a ported FAST 90 would definitely have you atleast at 455rwhp through your automatic with the stall locked on the dyno. Either pair of heads will help you out tremendously but I believe the AFR's match your combination better. Hope this helps you out.

I too would suggest the AFR 205's with oversized valves and some porting to get every horsepower you can. Don't forget to port the 90/90 combo. I bet 80 rwhp on the high side if you open up the heads a bit and port the intake and T/b. 60 rwhp on the low side. 65-70 is a safe bet though, and you'll definately see a ton of torque if you can get your compression to 11.5 to 1. Good luck !!!

I went back and read your sig 387/366 add 68 rwhp/54 rwtq you are looking at 455 rwhp and 420 rwtq. Thats a healthy *** auto car brother. Hold on tight !!! I would be overwhelmed if she makes those numbers. I bet you will too when you go WOT !!

Thanks allngn_c5 and JustLucky for the info. I definitely plan on getting the fast 90 ported. How much does that cost as well as getting the heads milled? 455rwhp makes me want to take out a loan and get it done today, but i'm gonna try to hold out as long as I can take it. I'll check into allngn_c5, by the way I used to live in Pontiac.

I rememeber you mentioning that in a pm we exchanged awhile back. I really hope you get some money together and set it up. If you get a set of AFR 205's and 90mm FAST from Tony Mamo, you can pay the extra charge to have the intake ported by one of the best. I think Ron at Vengeance is a bit cheaper, and Louis at LG Motorsports is very good and price is quite reasonable. You will have to comparison shop. I strongly recommend that you get the AFR 205s opened up a bit to maximize flow while maintaining port velocity. Tony is a master and will match the heads to the intake perfectly. Ron or Louis can also. You make a the choice, you can't go wrong with any of those guys. I know you are thinking about how much money this is going to cost but it is worth it. Better to pay once and do it right rather then pay twice because you went cheap the first time around. At any rate shop around, you never know someone may throw you a better deal (LG Motorsports) sorry couldn't resist.

I do think about the money but those thoughs don't last long knowing the power I would be making and having the best stuff on my car. I'm definitely gonna check those guys out when i'm ready to spend the dough
