The shortblock is a Vengeance Spec LS7 440 built by SDPC. We have used SDPC for 98% of our builds for the past two years with no issue. The longblock was completed in house

Congrats on the #s Malcolm. I wish he had some OEM Z06 rims to make it more of a fair comparison to the other 440 we did. Those heavy azz wheels you have are costing you some dyno braggin rights

Have a safe trip home!!!

Is it on a trailer or is he driving it? If he's driving it this certainly shows ultimate confidence in the shop. Ron, did you drive this car around a little before the customer picked it up? Just wanting some driving impressions if you have them.

Customer is driving it home. He flew out mid week last week to hang out with some local family. He drove the car Thursday/Friday and we did a final tune on it Saturday night. We should have some feedback posted by tomorrow from his trip home.

I will say around town the Z drives like a baby. No surging/stalling issues at all. Hot starts are nice. Just gotta treat the go pedal with a lil respect

im sure the rockers take care of some of the lift...not sure how much they are worth but with LS7 heads i know you def need some high lift to take advantage of them the right way ...then again ive never built a 440CI motor or any motor since were on the subject

Default Vengeance Racing 440 is complete!

So is anyone going to answer my question as to whether the camshaft is hydraulic or solid roller?
