Turbos and different cam comparison dynos?
Turbos and different cam comparison dynos? Am wondering if anyone has done any dynos on their turbo car with a few different cams. Am torn between a mellower cam with mid 500s lift and a wilder cam with near mid 600s lift. Lingenfelter gt7 and lingenfelter gt11.Wondering if its worth it to go up to the gt11 in a 408 build or if the possible shorter valvespring life might not be worth it. APS has a very good dyno on here with the gt11,afr 225 on a stock displacement 346. Just looking for some more examples of what bigger cams can do.
Depends on the exact setup and goals, I am no genous and I am too building a 408. I have asked the same question and you'll always get different opinions. I see to many results with a smaller 'blower' cam and great results. I think I will be slapping in a 224/228 .581 .588 114LSA for another reason that I already have it too. So many variables in a turbo application though.
i was running a 236/230 cam with my 408 and 91mm turbo. results in my dyno graph are with about 12.5 lbs of boost.
numbers in sig dont match dyno graph because it was redynoed at a later time and I couldnt get the graph...
