Guess i will need to look for the weiand inlet to replace the GM one if that proves to flow any better.
I really wanted a good mannered road which i can use for very occasional track use,
Currently working on getting some free flowing exhausts made up, with headers to route through the chassis rails (pics are a friends car with a ford, but you can see how much fun the headers are gonna be)

widest tyre possible in the arch is 285 on a 18 inch rim, they're on now
Have to wait for a couple of weeks till i get the engine, then i can finish up making the headers and we will see what it goes like
The ls6 was quick, i hope this will move a little more briskly

File is kind of large, sorry

Congratulations on this nice setup and good luck for traction
Love that solid low rpm torque, especially for the tight twisty roads we have here, you are through the gears so much, that using the torque makes these cars really fly.
I had a "cammy" ls6, and found it a real PITA to drive quick on the roads, it had little bottom end, and needed to be on the cam all the time to be quick
The builders (as you may have guessed from post 16 are Schwanke) and have done exactly what i asked them to do, provide a really mild mannered block, with a good amount of torque, and worked with me assembling parts I sent them (some from members off this board)
I guess as always, you look at a curve, and no matter what it shows, you always question if it could be improved, or if your parts choices are correct.

I would think a little peakier cam in the 427 would make controlling the power easier. With that much torque off idle it would come on harder than a little ramp-up to 3500 before it screams. I don't think any cam within reason in that big a motor will make it REAL peaky like a big cammed 346.

. Should be a lot of fun
