Longtube swap only dyno request...

How much power have you guys got just by swapping out longtubes and swapping out for a matching mid-pipe?

What is so restrictive on the stock manifolds? What are the sizes of your longtubes?

look for up to 350rwhp. i got a pair of hooker super comps. the lt's allow for more scavenging of exhaust gasses

depends on where you begin, but 335-345 seems about the norm

on a stock engine (lid only) i picked up 7 mph before tuning and 9 after tuning. a total of 10 mph from pacesetter 1 3/4" coated longtubes. i also added a 4k stall when adding headers, so i'm only guessing that it would've picked up more on the stock converter. this is with the stock tune, as well.

Corrected.

OP, 10-20rwhp is a good estimate. There are a lot of variable and it sounds like you mean with NO other bolt-ons (ie pulley, ported TB, catback, etc, etc).

yes, the car trapped 100-101 bone stock. fastest trap was 111, but it averages 109-110 before the clutch packs started getting upset. had no problems in stock trim, i think the 273 gears had something to do with it. not to mention the 3,700lb raceweight when stock.

longtubes + true duals boosted me from 306HP to 349HP... so longtubes are worth it. A 01-02 may gain less (only because it starts with more thanks to the freer flowing cast manifolds).
