TR 236/230 results
2001 Firehawk
mods, Ported LS6 Heads with 2.02/1.60 valves, ported TB,underdrive pulley,Strange 12 bolt with 4.11 gears,Denny's Nitrous shaft and tuned with Edit.
Before with TR 224 on 112 Cam was 410hp/386tq
Only change was the new Cam and tuning for A/F- 426hp/392tq
Motor was not cooled down between runs,so could be another 5hp with a cool motor.

Nice.. Congrats on the swap.. Your sig shows 412hp/396tq and I guess you dyno'd right b4 the cam change and dyno'd 410hp/386tq? Where did the 10tq go? How is the idle compared to the TR224? Could you post the graph?

Re: TR 236/230 results
I should update my sig.I lost the 10lbs torque on the Denny's driveshaft and 4.11 gears(from 3.73)
I'm still working on the idle.Cold start is good but hot does surge for around 10-15 seconds.Alot choppier idle compared to the 224.Drivability is excellent.I can lug the motor at 1400rpms and get no bucking at all.
Also my #'s might be getting affected by a real bad rearend vibration that starts at 80mph.I think it's a loose pinion shaft and will try to fix it this week.
For people wanting to compare for there setup.I lost 15hp/10tq on switching to the 12 bolt with 3.73 gears,Lost another 8-10hp going to 4.11 gears and the heavy Denny's driveshaft.
I'll try to post the graph shortly.
Might have track times this Saturday.

Nice results
Im not sure Its worth making that change for me from my 230/224 cam. I was going to do it today but I figure my 230/224 was worth about 10 hp more than your 224 .For another 5 or 6 rwhp its not worth the swap. I was hoping there would be atleast 10 hp in the swap for me.
How does it idle?
Can you post the dyno sheet
Good luck and have fun

nice pick up. i may have to look into upgrading my cam when i get some heads. i think the extra lift will help me out with a set of ported heads to get all the power out of them.
btw, where does the power peak at? you wouldn't happen to be able to give us a dyno sheet would you. i'd really like to see it.

Excellent gains over the TR224! Thanks for taking the time to do the swap. We should have some further testing of this cam completed very soon (and a few others we are working out the details on).

After some time on the Cam it is a new world. The Cam has alot of lope.Exhaust is alot louder and drivability is great.I'm still running 918's but plan on going with Rev's and raising the rev limit to 7200.Hopefully track times soon.
