You also have to take into account back pressure. It's not just compressor flow, but the complete intake and exhaust system.
.You are all missing a point and are partially right. The turbo is only good for "x" amount of power. It is ultimately limited by the compressor's flow. The larger more will sometimes lead to a better flowing head, depending on valve shrouding, which just means it will make the power at lower boost levels
