HELP with moron... i have a guy at my work telling me that the dodge challenger/chargers are the fastest of dodge-ford-gm production cars...he says they will smoke vettes. He says the suntimes says so...lol please tell me how these compair...all stock for stock..

There is no help for a moron.... they bring you down to their level and beat you with experience. Not positive, but I thought that the new charger/challengers were a little on the fat side.

Well Charger SRT8 runs a low 13 sec 1/4 so its on par with a WS6/SS if not a tick faster. The SRT8 Challenger weights so much that its actually a 13.9 machine so it is a bit slower. Vette's are faster than all of them because a stock LS3 can run in the 12's.
^^Your right. Ive heard they weigh over 4000lbs. They are slightly slower than an LS1 Fbody. A C5 would put a car or two on them. A C6 would rip them a new one.
I raced a Charger RT when my car was bone stock and it was pretty bad. And i have a Video of me racing the same car but I had a catback/lid, If you want to see it.

motor trend should have a road test or write up that shows they're aprox quarter mile. noway is a heavier car going to blow away a camaro let alone a vette! cheers race him or meet him on dyno day

a friend has a Charger SRT8. She talked all kinds of smack until she drove my TA. you should of seen the look on her face! She just cut a check for $26k the day before for her car, and when I told her I spent $10k on mine, she almost had a heart attack! I drove the Charger, it was very comfortable, but definately a pig. Not a bad car though. I would love to drive a Challenger for comparative reasons

yea, the ******* got me so pissed and everybody was laughing at me cus it seemed like i was just saying my cars that fast...its not but i was just stating facts + i was talking about my car in stock form...ahhhh he got me pissed.

The things are quick, but he barely competing with the C5 z06, let alone the new C6. Def just bring up the motor trend issue where they compare all the new cars. the challenger got its *** handed to it by the Camaro.
