Question What will it Run. 68 Nova 6.0l ly6 /w cam.

1968 Nova
8.5" /w 4.10's
Jake's Performance Stage II 4l80e
Jake's Performance billet 3500-3600 RPM Stall

At the track I will either run a 26.X" slick (Street tires are 275-60r15's out back)

2009 Ly6 (about 9.67:1)
Victor Jr. for l92
Custom EPS cam 222/234 @ 0.050 .597/.612 111+4 Kit
770 Street avenger (will most likely have to upgrade to a 950HP)
Either Dougs D3337 or Dynatech 715-21410
3" exhaust (Dynomax ulta flow mufflers?)

How much #? Is this a regular all steel full interior street car or a stripped out race car?

Not sure on the weight, I'm not stripping anything really other then the tar paper sound deadner is removed and bumpers will be new chrome pieces (lighter than stock).

http://www.novaresource.org/weights.htm#1968 shows the stock weight. Not sure with the ly6 however. and my fat behind.... 290's but hoping to get to 220 before I'm done the car.... Was 340+++ in the spring on 2011. So maybe 3400-3500 lbs.

Well, your motor should make similar power to mine. My car is running about 11.40s in the quarter now based on my 7.28 in the 1/8th. So, 200 # lighter plus a higher stall converter - I would say 10.90s - 11.00s if you put a real carburetor on it and tune it really well.

LMAO @ real carb LOL I already regret not getting a 950hp or even the 870 street avanger woudl be better then the 770 I have.

10.90's would be awesome but I only expect mid 11's myself. My engine is only about 9.67:1 and yours is about 10.9:1? So on compression alone I will be down about 5% on your engine (so down about 25-30hp), my cam is 4 degrees less on intake compared yours (May not be as much a difference a if might make up for some of the lost compression). Also your heads are ported so your exhaust should flow better....... I do have more gear so hopefully I can get this car to 60' nice with the more gear and converter.....

What does all mean in real world performance? Who know were bench racing lol....

I think the power difference is over estimated. From my experience, it will affect the torque down low and midrange but have less effect near peak HP where the volumetric efficiency is high.

Will be interesting to see. First will be a lazy run with the 770 once the car is done... Then gota work on "a real carb"
