should i hit 12's this spring??
ok heres the car. 2000 camaro SS M6. ~79K miles
current mods: lid, filter, smooth bellow, SFC's, LCA's, adjustable torque arm and adjustable panhard bar.
mods on the way just ordered most of them today lol. will do all free mods, full true dual exhaust dumped w/ LT's no cats. 4.10 gears. egr and air removed. msd wires w/ngk plugs. will remove rear seat, spare tire, and jack at the track. gonna run on street tires. maybe a mix of race gas. will it go 12's ?

You'll quickly find that the M6 tranny and street tires make launching almost
impossible without spinning. Race fuel will only hurt as more octane than
needed just slows down the flame speed thus hurting power. You should be
around 12.9-13.1 range. Drag radials will put you 12.5-12.6 ish.
