Default 392 vs 6.0 gmc s15?

hey guys, theres a new green 392 challeneger runnin around here with his nose way too high in the air.... he told me he would win if we raced, because im drivin a gm and he just beat a ford for 500 bucks..... i dont get it but whatever... im gunna put my c5 vette wheels on the truck with as wide of tires as i can fit in the fender just so i can hook... what are my chances.. its a 1989 gmc s15 with a lq4 with ls2 internals, ls3 top end and all bolt ons converted to a carb and a good sized cam with a th400 that runs to about 4200 ish when you mash the speed bar.... the engine should be makin about 580 ish hp at the flywheel and the truck weighs about 2700 on the high side without me in it.. im pretty sure ive got this one in the bag but wanted some opinions first. hes the only one that talked **** and ive done nothin but complimented his car on its looks and hp (but not its weight lol) right now ive got crappy 205 tires on the back to save the rear, what are my chances of blowin the stock rear with some 275 tires from a roll? his car is stock other than a "performance tuner" that puts him at 490 hp i guess.... i think he will give me a 40 roll to about 140 ish mph... witch would put it just before 1/4 mile for me i think... what are my chances to win the $1/2k if i hook?

HP to weight is key here. If you really have that much power and only 2700LBS to push the Dodge is going to be clubbed like a baby seal.

the hp is a good estimate, the weight is also really close if not even guessing alittle heavy. it weighed 3040 with me in it (i weighed 175) with the last engine setup, sbc 305 iron heads cast manifolds and 700r with full interior. now its completely gutted and the inner fenders and all the stuff bolted to them are gone but i am runnin a th400 now. im sure he will never race me, but somebody else might lol. it sure does pull like a **** even at 4k rpm in 3rd...

im bummed. just ran my pickup across the scales... its a huge scale setup to weigh 80k plus semis, it showed 2820 without me in it. right at 3000 with me, a full tank of gas race ready. im kinda bummed. i was hopin for alittle less, but oh well it still pulls super hard.
