I think I might be selling my SS, although I have not 100% decided yet. I personally have taken great care of the car. I believe I am the third owner and I have owned it for almost two full years and have only put about 6k miles on it. I purchased the car in April of 2006 with 89,XXX miles. I know because it is an SS it does not automatically mean its rare, but I know because its a hardtop it is a little more desirable and that is one of the reasons I purchased it.
Car:
Black 2000 Camaro SS Hardtop
96,XXX Miles
6 Speed
Leather
17' Rims
Mods:
-AIR and EGR Delete (still have stock pieces)
-Pacesetter Longtubes
-Texas Speed Y pipe
-Magnaflow Catback
-MTI Carbon Fiber Lid
-P&P Stock TB and Powder Coated Black
-MAF Powder Coated Black
-LS6 Intake
-LS6 PCV system (just installed, no more than 20 miles ago)
-New Clutch - unsure of the brand because my parents took care of it when I was away at school. Most likely a replacement part, no more than 1000 miles on it)
-Stock Valve Covers Powder Coated Red
-Stock Coils Powder Coated Black
-Pioneer Head Unit with iPod Cable Run Into the Glovebox
The Bad:
Check Engine Light is on because of LS6 intake and LTs
Paint is a bit dull
Exhaust Leaks
I would say the worst part of the car is the paint, but I don't think it is anything that a GOOD detailer could not restore. It has a lot of swirls and scratches. 99% of this stuff can only be seen up close. I would rate the paint a 6.5/10. Let me state that the car does NOT need to be repainted, it just needs someone with the patience and know how to return the paint back to a 10/10.
The interior is in excellent condition, I am honestly surprised. There are a few rattles but its nothing major. Seats are in great condition and there are no cracks in the dash. AC blows cold and heat works fine, windows also work. I would rate the interior 8/10.
Mechanically I have never had any problems besides the clutch. The clutch went out on me and was replaced but other than that I have had no engine problems or rear end problems.
I have personally never raced this car, most people say I drive like an old person and its pretty hard for them to believe since I am 22. I have gotten on it, but I have never bounced it off the limiter. I have also never taken it to the track and believe it or not I have never done a burnout in this car. I know its only my word, but I am an honest person and I am not out to screw anyone over. When I had the car checked out by my mechanic they said it was in good shape.
I really have not decided if I am selling so feel free to ask questions. I can get the VIN number if anyone would like to run a carfax. I also have the title in hand. Asking $8250.

bump and including a bonus for anyone thats interested. If anyone is interested in the car and buys it this week (2/17 - 2/22) for $8250 I will include 4 brand new ATE rotors and full set of hawk pads. This is the package from Strano that sells for $499 plus $50 bucks shipping. These are all still in the original packaging and have never been put on the car.
