Default 10 second 1970 nova ss for sale

the nova was bought years ago and stored in a garage a town over as there's no place to keep it at home. it's basically a strictly drag car. it's got a 350, on the bottle. it has a cage, and no rear seat. i have time slips for mid 10's at around 124 on the bottle. it's a real SS also. it will need paint, as it's mainly in primer. it's been sitting for a while and will obviously need small things to run again. it's a bit of a project car, but was driven around and into the garage where it's sat for 3 or 4 years now. the pictures make it look like a mess, but it shouldn't be all that much to get it all set again, i just can't afford anything right now. i'm out of work due to a back injury and waiting on a date for surgery.

have time slips for the nova and the title stating that it is an SS.

60'-1.50

1/4-10.62@124.40
and
60'-1.49
1/8-6.77@100.22
1/4-10.71@124.13

as for a price, i'm not sure what these cars are worth, but have been told it should bring in some good money. i'm not looking for crazy money though, so don't be afraid to throw me offers. i'm just looking to get this sold as son as i can to build a new motor and tranny for my mustang. any questions, let me know.

not trying to bust *****, but that car looks like it needs a decent amount of work. I wouldn't expect to get tons for it right now, especailly the way the car market is

nah, i don't expect a ton of money, i just can't really let it go for that cheap.

honestly, it shouldn;t take much. it was my grandfathers and he had it registered, insured and on the road before he parked it where it sits. he passed in december and gave it to me, so i just need to get rid of it.

Sorry to hear of your Grandfather's passing.
Now everyone's situation is different, and I (obviously) dont know you or your situation, but if my grandfather gave me a race car, I'd do what ever I could to keep it and race it.

GL with what ever you do.

thanks for the kind words bud. i really wanted to keep it, but i just can't. i'm out of work waiting on a date for back surgery and need either money, or something i can all the time.

the big thing is, that he didn't build it and race it himself, because if he had, there's no chance in hell this car would go anywhere. he bought the car on one of his many spending sprees, registered it, drove it around a bit, then parked it and started buying other things. he just liked to spend money.

i completely understand where you're coming from bud, but it's not exactly the case. thanks for the kind words though.

i have a few more pictures i can email you if you'd like to give me your email address.

i don't have the specifics on the engine, unfortunately. like i said, my grandfather passed, so i have no one to ask. i haven't bothered to try to start it, but like i said, it was driven into the garage it's in, so it'll just take basic things to get it running again. it's got a 12 bolt rear, but i don't know what gears etc. it has.
