Default FS: 00 Short Block (Central PA)

Ok guys, I am selling my short block from my 00 FRC. Motor has 80k on it.

The only reason I am selling it because I have a forged bottom end built & don't need this hoggin' up room in my garage.

Motor has NO PROBLEMS, when I pulled this out it was running fine, doesn't burn oil, has good compression (it was checked last spring), doesn't knock, held good oil pressure (40 psi @ idle when fully warmed up). You can still see the cross hatching in the cylinder walls. There is no sctaches in the cylinder walls, just your normal wear. I took very good care of this motor, you can ask Zturd. Oil changed every 3k & I only used Mobil 1 5w30.

I wiped down the pistons & deck w/ alittle carb & choke cleaner. The pistons are in very good shape, no detenation pits, or problems w/ the piston face.

What you get is the block, rods, crank. NO HEADS, COVERS, SENSORS, or OIL PAN. I need all the covers & stuff for my new motor. Bottom end is still assembled, I didn't feel the need to go tearing it apart when it was still in good shape.

I am located in Hershey PA & would like to sell this locally because it will be a total PIA to ship. I am will to meet half way, if your from NJ, NY, MD or farther out like the Pitt. area of PA.

The first couple of pics show the power steering pump, heads & covers on the motor. Once again, THEY ARE NOT PART OF THE SALE. These are pics taken just after I pulled it outta the car.

I am looking to get $850 obo. Like I said I am willing to meet half way if nesscary.:thumbs:
