Fs: 2001 r1 Just thought i would see if there is any interest over here...
Up for sale is my 2001 Yamaha R1. It currently has 14k miles and runs great. Don't have to sell but am buying a house soon and could use the extra cash. Bike has been repainted(previous owner) had it painted Acura Nighthawk Black Metallic. I have the paint code for touch up paint. Paint is not perfect but looks good from 3ft away. Few scratches/chips and a minor crack in one of he fairings. Since taking ownership I have had the carbs cleaned/synced and jetted. Bike put down 137hp at the wheel. Had this done at Cycle Connection in gaithersburg. Also just had new Michelin pilot power 2cts installed at RNR Cycles less then 500 miles ago. Clutch cable adjusted. I changed all the fluids, new plugs, re-oiled K&N, and new pads front/rear. Other extras include:
Newer R1 5 spoke wheels installed(including stock 3 spokes)
Tinted Windshield
Adjustable Shift Light
New Tires,Pads,Fluids,Plugs
Braided Front Brake Hoses
Full exhaust - Hindle Header and a shortened D&D muffler
Dual Hi/Low 6k HIDs
Carbon triple tree cover
LED flush mount Turn signals
Hot bodies Undertail
Low mileage OEM shock/spring on rear
Fork seals were done 3k miles ago
Solo seat cowl(including reg pass seat also)
Fan Switch
Got 43mpg last tank regularly gets 38+. Very fast bike.
Overall in good shape for being 10years old. Clean Title in hand.
