I will keep my eyes out for ya Chris. If I hadn't found 1 bare 243 head from a guy at work to replace mine I would say we could go in on buying a pair. Let me know if you want I will have 7 good hollow stem intake valves if you need any

Yeah after hearing about yours I figured I wasn't gonna keep mine around either. Was gonna swap them out over the winter. But then this happened and it is getting done a little sooner

Why? I just picked up a set of 243's from a cts v. Did the ls6 caddy get the hollow stem / sodium valves? Wondering if i should change the valves out before i throw them on.

Will you be selling the trashed head? I want to practice my hand porting.

I think the ls6 from the ctsv would have hollow stem valves also. if it was from an ls2 motor then no would have regular valves. Chris had a valve break on a 5k miles motor with a big cam. I haven't really heard to many issues with them before.

I am ditching mine since I bent one.

If either of you decide to scrap those heads, please let me know. Im in NYC, i could go for a quick roadtrip... stop for a cheesesteak

I was thinking about the lsr cams from comp. I heard they were more stable and easier on the valve train. 231/239 .617 .624 on a 113 LSA Think that will cause any problems with the hollow stem's?
