the cut and paste for those who don't wanna click:
for sale 2001 Chevrolet Suburban LT K2500, 190,000 miles, 8.1 Vortec, 4L80E trans, automatic AWD/4WD system. Truck has every available option for 2001 including front and rear climate control (cold AC), power heated leather seats with second row captains chairs and a 3rd row bench (Seating for 7), CD and cassette player, rear audio and climate controls, Onstar (not subscribed), auto dimming mirrors, tow package (10,500lbs capacity), aux fuel tank, and factory running boards and privacy glass. The truck has a lot of miles on it, but it really does run great, the trans was rebuilt at ~150k and shifts perfectly. Suspension was gone through 1 year ago (balljoints and alignment) and is tight. No clunks or rattles over bumps. Rear brakes were done 10k ago, brake booster was replaced 5k ago. Now for the not so great....It seats 7 adults comfortably with enough cargo room in the back to carry 7 peoples luggage, or fold the second row seats down and remove the bench and you have an 8ft bed (an 8x4 sheet of plywood will lay flat back there)
The truck was in an accident 2 years ago and the front bumper and grill were replaced with aftermarket (OE style) parts that in my opinion don't fit great. The front tow hooks, Chevy Bowtie and fog lights were never reinstalled (i have two new in box fog lights that will go with the truck). There is a little blemish on the front of the hood that was never cleaned up (not dented, and not noticeable unless your on top of it). The abs light comes on intermittantly, I was told it needed a front wheel speed sensor but i never bothered with it because the ABS still works fine and the truck passes inspection as is. I just took it through inspection in March. Vehicle is over 8600lbs GVW so there is no emissions testing required on it (it will pass just fine, they just don't bother testing it). The truck currently has 285/75/16 BFG All Terrains that will probably make it though one more winter before needing to be replaced. The drivers seat shows some wear to be expected with a 190k truck, no major tears or anything. The paint has chips and small dings here and there, also to be expected with a 190k truck. From 15 feet away the truck looks perfect.
I bought this truck to tow my boat around, and it did so flawlessly (btw it has an aftermarket trailer brake controller that works). It is a joy to drive loaded or unloaded. It looks and drives more like an 80-90k truck. I'm selling it because I sold the boat this past winter and I just don't need it anymore. I would be interested in trades for a 97+ Cherokee (bonus points for a manual trans), a 99+ Grand Cherokee with a 4.7, or a club cab Dakota (bonus points if it's a 4.7). All would need to be 4x4 and in condition similar or better to the suburban i'm selling.
Kbb good private party value is 8200, fair is 7200, NADA retail is 9300. My asking price reflects the flaws in the truck and is FIRM, I repeat FIRM. Would make an awesome work truck for a landscape or contractor crew, You can put your whole crew in one vehicle and still tow a big *** equipment trailer to the worksite. Or a large family that likes to camp? Or someone who needs to tow big boat in style and comfort, or someone who just likes to drive a big truck to the grocery store, I won't judge...
