Looking for a working condition long block or short block. Blew my motor and need a replacement one. original motor was a 98 as well as the writing harness so dunno if the 98 was the bitch year or if can use the 99+? Anyways please let me know your offers and location please.

 

You can get a 99+ all you need to do is get coil brackets and put the temp sensor and oil pressure sending unit from your 98 harness in. Everything else swaps over. I'm going from a 98 to 99+ swap now.

No problem. Why don't you just get a lq4/9? Should cost the same if not less and make more power.

edit-plus i dont want to spend more on ecm, wiring harness and etc to make it all work

 

so basically 99+ shortblock or longblock ls1, lq4, lq9 motor.
