2004 4.8L & 4L80E Drop Out I have the perfect work-horse setup!
2004 GMC/ Chevy 2500 Van
4.8L Cable Throttle Body and 4L80E Transmission
The combo did have higher mileage (19x), but ran like a top and was a serviced fleet vehicle. The oil is extremely clean, the motor didn't smoke, tick or any other oddities. As far as I can tell, the engine is original to the chassis.
If you are looking to swap a car on a budget....or boost it until it busts....this is THE perfect setup.
Engine is complete intake to pan.
Harness, PCM , Front O2s and MAF are included.
Transmission with inspection cover and converter.
