Default 2002 z28

Up for sale is a 2002 Z28, 67k miles, 6spd, T-top, Black with Ebony interior (it’s dark grey, no idea wtf it’s actually called…), Leather, Cruise, PW/PL, Power Driver Seat, Rear-Defroster, CD Player, Chrome Snowflakes

I am the third owner, and the ownership story as I understand it from the person whom sold it to me is as follows. Original owner had it for around 20k miles, and traded it into a Dodge Dealer. The owner before me worked at said dealer, and purchased it before it even went on their lot. He owned it for around 4 years and put 40k miles or so on it. Then I purchased back in June 2013 before I got married. And in those roughly seven months I have amassed only about 2500 miles. The car is daily driven however my commute is only 22 miles round trip, so the miles don’t go up very quickly.

Prior owner to me took meticulous care of it. Cleaned the crap out of it, kept it near stock (just a Flowmaster muffler), and performed routine maintenance. He said he changed the diff fluid every other oil change, and after I purchased the car and changed it myself, I could believe that. Very clean fluid came out and the internals look great.

In my care, the car has unfortunately not been a “nice weather only” car as it was for the prior owner(s). It is not garaged, however besides rainy days it only saw salt/slush about five times total. I doubt from the looks of it either of the prior owners had it out in anything more than a drizzle. I kept on top of the washing as best I could, and have all-weather mats in the car for when I am caught in a spell of poor weather.

Items that were done when I bought it were as follows:
- Cross drilled/slotted rotors up front
- Slotted rotors out back
- Boxed SFCs welded in (no idea what brand so don’t ask)
- New Clutch and Flywheel (didn’t specify what brand, but I would guess OEM, grabs good but not aggressively)
- New Steering Rack (New or Reman’d I can’t say for certain)

In terms of maintenance, the following have ALL been done on my watch inside of 2k miles:
- New IAT sensor
- New PCV valve
- New Air Filter
- New Fuel Filter
- New Spark Plugs (TR55s @ .055)
- New AC Delco LS6 plug wires (the red ones)
- New Anchor Trans Mount
- New Timken Hub/Bearing Assemblies
- New AutoCraft Gold Battery
- New Dayco Serpentine Belt (Have the AC belt too, have not yet installed)
- Aftermarket PS cooler behind front air dam
- Coolant drained and filled with pre-mixed Dexcool
- Non-PS Cooler upper radiator hose (have stock still as well if you wish)
- Rotated Tires
- Clutch fluid bled and flushed
- Brake fluid bled and flushed
- Diff fluid
- Trans fluid with Dex 3
- Oil with Napa Gold Filter

The following I have but have not yet installed (if I still have when the weather breaks I will be doing these)
- Two new window motors in possession but not yet installed (can do or give with the car).
- New Intake Manifold Gaskets
- New manifold>cat pipe gaskets

In terms of aftermarket, the list is short:
- Frost tune for lid and catback
- SLP Lid
- Corsa Catback

I am selling because I am looking to get back into a truck, as my future plans would benefit from having a truck versus for all intents and purposes, a two seater sports car. If I could afford both, I would keep this, but I can’t, so this must go. I am not in a dire rush to sell, per say, so I don’t want to just give the car away. However I am slightly flexible on the price.. I do not hold the title, a bank does, however it is a local credit union and there have been no issues in the past (4 or so times) when I’ve sold a vehicle and needed the title. I can call one day prior and they will have the title for me. I am looking for 8700OBO, I'm flexible on this within reason. Thanks for looking.

-J

EDIT: More pics should be had this Saturday, I have to clean the recent snow off as I haven't driven it in the past couple weeks.
