418ci LS3 Based Short Block For Refreshing
Up for grabs is a 418ci LS3 based stroker.
Motor came out of a 98 Trans Am and was running when removed. The motor had very low oil pressure (+/- 5psi hot idle). Still came up under load, but not as much as I would have liked to see. I recommend having it re-ringed and re-bearinged.
I pulled one main and one rod, both looked decent with no signs of damage to the crank.
Pistons are Wiseco (unsure of CC)
Rods are Manley H-Beams with ARP2000 rod bolts
Crank is a Callies Compstar
