Default 1969 gmc lwb

Up for grabs is a project of mine that I don't have the time or place to work on at the moment.
This is a RUNNING and DRIVING truck that is currently tagged and cruising around.
I was hoping to post it on here and someone will do something rad like an LSX build.

Originally, the truck was a 292/3 speed HD model. It had the heavy duty front springs, 9 leaf rear springs and utility rear bumper as a work truck option.
The brakes didn't work and it barely ran.
Since picking the truck up, we did a good bit to clean it up and it runs and drives great now.
Most of the new parts are from Classic Performance and McGaugheys.
As it sits now, she is lowered 5.5" in the front and 7" in the rear and stops on the dime.

Engine/transmission -
Stock 350 with a rebuilt Rockchester quadrajet carb and a TH350 with floor shifter.

Brakes -
Brakes are replaced front to back.
New brake master and booster with proportioning valve
All new stainless steel lines and conversion for disc brakes in the front.
New Calipers, rotors, pads, and all hardware.
The rear drums were all redone with new wheel cylinders, pads and hardware.

Suspension -
In the front all the suspension was replaced with new upper and lower ball joints, tie rods, shocks
2.5" drop spindles
3" drop springs
In the rear it has brand new leaf springs from Michigan Truck Springs and DJM flip kit with new shackles and mounts.
New shocks and hardware

Body -
Shes rusty. Could use some new weather striping and little things like that.
Chrome is pitted but looks cool.
The cab and bed are rough but thats why I wanted this truck specifically.
Rear is c notched to allow full suspension travel for being lowered
The doors and locks all work.
Windows crank up and down without any issues.
Rear glass has a slider and works.
All the lights work, headlights, high beams, reverse, blinkers, and dome light.
Wipers work. sometimes they turn on by themselves. Probably need a new switch.
The rockers are typical for an east coast classic. The truck has seen years of weather.
The bed floor is pretty far gone. (farmer that owned it kept hay sitting in the bed)
It was repainted at some point to the current blue. Originally it was green.
Has green interior dash metal and dash cover.
Bench seat is tore up but still sturdy. Most likely original to the truck.
"Chevrolet" tailgate
Has 4 new tires on it. (2) 225/75/15 and (2) 235/75/15. also has another matching wheel for a spare.
Somebody welded a trailer hitch on it
Radio and HVAC controls don't work. Never really messed with them or looked into it.

Overall,
If you want a good solid chassis with the major components finished and ready to cruise around, this is it.
If you want a project and want to keep tearing into the truck. this is it.
All the brakes and suspension are finished so you can drive it as is or continue tearing into it as I was doing.
You can keep driving it as it sits or put a new motor in or even do the body work or switch the cab out. I was going to chop it up into a short bed and make it go fast! I hate to see it go but its needs more love and attention than I'm available to offer.
Purchase and enjoy all the thumbs up you will get.

Clean title, original owners manual and receipts for most of the upgraded parts.
I don't really know what a long bed GMC is worth as mine sits currently so lets go with $6900 or best offer
(Reasonable offers....dont be a turd). My loss is your gain.
Low ballers will be ignored or depending on my mood, heckled. I'm not in a rush to sell.

Located in Baltimore, Maryland
Any questions, feel free to email me or hit up my phone.
I prefer if you text and I can call you back if needed.

Thanks
