Cecil Friday 11-21 I know a few of you are going to the rental on Sunday but I didn't know if anyone was planning on going on Friday. I'm thinking of heading down.

no but i might be there i will bring an extra one. later on in the night they make you depending on what you run and how many are there. i ran a 13.1 at like 6 pm and they made me. but another night my buddy ran a 12.3 and they didnt. so i would suggest bringing one. lol
$15 to race friday and $35 saturday. Saturday I am taking my car and my buddy is bringing his 87 GTA. He is shooting for 9s and I wanna get mine deeper in the 10s. I may go down friday night too just for the hell of it.

i think i might go to try out my DR's for the first time see if i could hit the 12's or atlease a 13.0x I dont have a helmet but my friend rides dirt bikes and is lending me one.
I ran a 13.3 they didnt ask me to wear a helmet, then the next week i backed off at the end of the track when i went on my first run ran a 14.2 and they told me i needed a helmet, They are really weird down there my best friend used to work there until we went off to college.

I think the rules are anything over 100mph and 13.9 and faster you need to have a helmet.
But yeah they are wierd about certian stuff. I can't tell you how many times I watched my buddy run in the 10s with no fire jacket. And the other week I went 11.0 and they gave my crap about not having a jacket.

If I can find a helmet for a decent price I'll be there. Hopefully you guys will be nice enough to give me some pointers so I don't look like a fool. I've drag raced before but it was with a FWD car with half the horsepower.
Depends on the power level. 30 degrees it will be harf for me to stick 600rwhp. but I made my best stocksih passes on 30 degree nights. Went 12.7@107 with just a lid cat back and BRG DRs
I don't see tonight being good for racing at cecil. The 1in of snow in my yard gives it away. I plan on going tomorrow (Saturday) and I am gonna try and get a ticket for sundays rental.
