i heard on another site that they took all the wood down from the bealchers and have new-ish bleachers that came from the old liganore highschool that they tore down.... aso was told that all the grass in the pits were cut down....
i have off on sunday, iam gonna drive by and check it out. maybe take some pics. ill let everyone know.

Latest info on 75-80 Hey guys, I'm new to this sight, but have been local to the 75-80 scene since the early nineties. Just heard from a VERY reliable source yesterday that the track will open at the latest by July, with the possibility to open as soon as April. The starting line will be moved forward 300 feet, so you drive through the burnout box on up to the starting line instead of backing in. The track will be eighth mile and the entire racing surface is going to be concrete! I will post any other info as it comes to me, but for now, to the best knowledge of my source this is NOT A JOKE.
Sweet. I rode by there sunday and the pit area was all mowed down and I heard today that they where delivering the jersey walls today. I just hope that they still have Test N Tune friday nights.

thats retarded!!! why would they change that burn out box? i hate driving through the water!!!! with drag radials all the watter doesent get out of my tred.!!!! 18th miles is stupid. if thats true i prolly wont go... makes me sad

Well wont be going to 75-80 if its 1/8 mile, probably wouldn't go if it was 1/4 mile anyways. That track was the worst anyways going down the return road bottoming out. No traction, I went there with my stock SS and spun all the way to the 1/8 mile. I guess its still crapitol for me!
