Good and bad at Cecil today
Good and bad at Cecil today Ran my new head and cam combo at Cecil today.Heads are ETP 5.3 heads I bought slightly used from someone on here.Cam is Comp 226/230 .585/.592 @ 113.Mikey at Rapid did the work and tune.Best run was11.60 118.31 1.69 60'.My other runs had 1.74-1.76 60's and were 11.70s around 118.Cars best with boltons was 12.53 108.70. I'm happy with the gain in MPH but was looking for a little better 60's and ET.Of course I know there are bigger and better converters than my TCI 3000.Thats all good news tho- the bad news is someone wrecked their good looking black Camaro SS.I believe it was fairly stock(low 13's around 105 I think)but he made a run and went thru the traps and the car spun around and hit the wall.I don't think he was hurt(?) and I did'nt see the car afterward but think it was crunched prettygood.Any one know who it was and if hes OK? and what the heck happened?
