Default MD Fabricators

I am looking for a fab shop to make me a Stainless Y-pipe. Anyone have any recommendations in the MD area? (I am in Westminster)

I need it done in the next 2 weeks.

Thanks

Spoke to Tyson on the phone. Seems like a great guy. I am heading up there tomorrow with the car to have him take a look.

How did I not know he was less than 10 minutes away from me?

I actually need to come visit you Mike, the tune is a hair off now (Plus I want you to work your magic on the intake) with the new intake setup on it and also the HUGE chunk of intake gasket that I found was missing (Literally one entire long side was GONE!).

I am PRAYING I have it figured out. (If not I am blowing this SOB UP!)

When I got it back from you I was under the car adding some heat shielding to the trans lines (they were touching the header). I was bitter about possibly having to pull the motor at the start of the summer. I decided to drop the trans pan to see if I could stop the small trans leak.

I dropped the pan and got to looking around and noticed the TV plunger lever was at a wierd angle. Turns out when I had the trans looked at they apparently flipped the lever so it wasnt fully depressing the TV plunger, leaving the line pressure WAY low up WOT.

I flipped it around and adjusted the TV cable, gotta take her back to the dyno to see if that was the issue.

I also found where my smoking int he engine bay was coming from....the passenger side valve cover (Nasty N8's) wasnt seated properly.it was sealed under part throttle but when the pressure went up it was blowing oil out onto the headers.

I am still not 100% happy with the trans, the converter is WAY to loose for a street car (Bought it as a 3600 behind the stock LS1 but now it is more like a 4400 behind the current motor) and the trans itself wont shift quite right under part throttle.

Last I need to reduce the lockup on the rear. It is at 100% now and is a mess to take sharp turns. I will reduce it to 33% and go from there.

All in all though it is coming along ok....I am still looking at some other options (like eliminating the mechanical roller stuff) but I want to enjoy the car this summer (As long as the dyno results show me "normal" results, not the mess it was before.

Wow bud, you've been busy! Sounds like a lot of bad luck coming your way. Give me a call when you're ready and we'll get it back on the rollers. What intake did you wind up with?
