My wife and I just 'celebrated' our 10 year anniversary, which with a 2.5 year old, and a 9 month old consisted of just going out alone for an afternoon, which hasn't happened much at all.

I was talking to a buddy about this the other day. People think we're kidding when we say "don't do it!!!". We give the non-married guys advice, they don't take it, they get married, happy for a little while, things go south, they get divorced, they tell their friends that they should have listened, they tell people that are thinking about getting married not to do it and the cycle continues... Alot of you are probably reading this thinking "yup, that's right!"
I hope anyone that gets married has something that lasts for the rest of their lives but with so many marriages failing and then the few tons of BS that you deal with later, I recommend walking on train tracks wearing a blindfold and earplugs instead. The results can be much better!

It really is sad how often folks get divorced. For the most part those people don't realize the accountability and what "forever" really means. Their is no excuse for cheating.
I don't judge anyone and I do understand things happen, But both parties need to be morally sound in their judgment when it comes to realizing a life long commitment.
I've only been married for about 2 yrs, and I wouldn't take it back. No regrets. Of course we get into occasional rough spots but, that's part of it. Never once though did I feel those occurrences would hinder our marriage. We never go to bed angry with each other. And honestly we both come from a Christian background and I believe having some of that influence can make a difference in commitment, understanding, and forgiveness.
You need to be able to trust each other fully, love is only a part of it. We would do anything for each other. In all seriousness, wish you the best. If you found the right person it's the best decision you will ever make. I know I wouldn't know what to do without her.

Alright enough mushy stuff, wanna know whats another good thing about being married. After working all day coming home to a good dinner and then banging your "wife"
