I may have missed it but where are you coming from? Canada?
Damn. Sounds like I'm going to miss the meet. It would have been nice to make it out for one.

Yep. I'm coming from Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. It's about an 11 hour drive. A little bit longer since we'll stop in DC for a few hours.

My b/f will be working but I can meet up with you and possibly a friend/member of the local car club. We were going to meet up for car pics anyway.

I can PM you my cell and you can text me when you're leaving DC but can you give me an idea abouts when you think you'd be around Woodbridge? It would be the Exit 152B Rt 234 W/Manassas. It's better then other exits just north of there for traffic. We could meet up at one of the restaurants there or the shopping center just 1/4 mile up the road. I don't want you to have to go too far off course for the rest of your trip.

Oh and I'd highly advice heading this way before 2. You don't want to get caught up in the traffic which starts at 3! It's really bad on 95 especially on Fridays. You can ride up to 234 in the HOV since there will be two of ya's but it stops at 234 and it gets backed up there too.

Sounds like a good plan. Is there a Starbucks or something around there? I'll send you a text when I get a better idea of what time we'll be coming through.

Unfortunately, I'm taking down the Grand Prix. I can't afford to pay for 15mpg and 94 octane on a 1500+ mile trip

The car hangouts in Virginia Beach are at the corner of Holland road and Independance behind the WaWa Gas station. There is a big car wash called Freedom Wash that everyone is alowed to hang out at. That is Fridays and saturdays. Also During the day on saturday there is a Meet at Jenros Coffee shop in VB on Independance and Haygood rds in the Haygood Shoppingcenter. You can check out

For more info on car shows and what not..
