Default va emissions laws

So I might be relocating to the prince william county area of Virginia and from what I understand sniffer/scan test is required.
Is this true and does that mean about the biggest cam is 224 in an ls1 that would pass with tuning.

Any ways around the emissions testing?

Thanks for any help.

you got it the emissions testing that they do here is the scanning test and visual emissions they only use the sniffer on obd1 cars, and the biggest cam your prolly gonna get away with is the 224-114

honestly i think it depends where you go. I believe the gas station by my house would pass you as long as you have cats and it isn't spewing out liquid...... like mine does haha.

So I guess there is the inspection and emissions.

I can't seem to find a list of things that are required regardless for the inspection. My camaro doesn't have airbags(codes have been set) will this be a problem... Also are cats required, egr, AIR required?

Are there websites that list specifics because I can't seem to find one.

thanks

Cats are required but they don't look for air/egr. As far as I know they don't look for airbags.
