Good place for head work in VA???
Good place for head work in VA??? So im getting a set of LS6 heads from a buddy of mine. He is removing them from is GTO. The GTO has low mileage, and from what can be seen from the top side, the heads look clean. I have thought about just bolting them on as is, but id like to spend the extra cash, and have them worked over. I will be hopefully doing the heads and a cam at the same time late this winter or early spring. Can anyone recomend a good shop in the Northern VA? I plan on doing the actual instal myself, but id like a shop work the heads for me. I know ill need a tune after, but i have no problem with going to a different shop for the tune if the place that did the heads doesnt do tunes. ANY thoughts or ideas would be helpful. thanks!
Since your local and VA Speed builds some FAST cars that stay together, I cannot see why you would not check them out.
The other places that I would look at if your looking at options is Rapid Motorsports and Cartek as they have been doing the game for a long time and make some great parts. All are sponsors on here so check them out!

I was actually looking at VA speed before I made the post. I just wanted some opinions and options before I decide to drive down there. They seem to be a very good shop that does awesome work from what ive read all over the forum. Again, im just weighing my options and trying to get opinions. If I get a massive push to go to them, then that's more than likely where ill go.
