Default street bike question???

Im taking my street bike to the track in a few weeks and i was wondering what i needed to pass tech as far as clothing and equipment i know i need a helmet and a jacket but what about pants shoes gloves? or anything else i might need. if anyone on here as raced thier bike before and knows i would appreciate your help. thanks

Pretty sure you need a kill switch with a tether.

as for the clothing this could be tricky, depending on the track you would need a one piece suit or a two piece suit that zips up. as for boots youo are going to need boots above the ankles, gloves must cover your wrist. as for the bike each track is different but make sure you have good tires nice clean clear brake fluid and good brake pads. O and a Snell rated helmet. i race my bikes all the time and i know what my track wants best to ask the people that go to that track.

Lebannon will probably want a leather jacket, gloves, proper helmet, boots over your ankles, definitely logn pants, I've seen guys in jeans before, but if ya got a full leather set you should be o.k. Bike will need to be in good shape (I'm sure it is) no bald tire or anything like that. The tether cord, not sure when they make you put that on, but at some level it is needed, probably single digits I'd guess, but check on that.

What did you buy for a bike Sean?

yea its fun im gonna upgrade in a year or so to a 1000 but for now its a good time
