Default First Time Out with the 403

Got out to the track last night for some shakedown runs with my new set up. Arrived at 5:30 and it was packed. Tech line was long.

First pass i ran NA.
60ft-1.518 spun the **** out of the tires
1/8-6.822
mph-103.14
1/4-10.668
mph-128.46

Wasnt the best pass in the word and i think i can do better. So i make another NA pass and do less of a burnout. Rick said i was over heating the tires. Come out softer and bogged to a 10.8

Screw this im spraying!

Set up the controller for a 40% hit with a 3 second ramp to 100%

Dump it at 5000rpm and spun

60ft-1.435
1/8-6.479
mph-111.81
1/4-10.05 Doh!
mph-139.96

It was a sloppy run. Also shift light came on before the traps so i clutched and coasted to the line. Running out of gear.

2 hrs later i get up to the line after they dig someone out of the sand trap.

Track hooked to much and bogged and ran 10.7. Wasted run.

Im happy first time out and picked up where i left off. Have to figure out the sweet spot to launch the car.
Might hit Island on sunday and etown on wed before we head out to SEMA.

Im having fun once again.

Its a 200 shot direct port. So its set up with a approx 80hp hit with a 3 second ramp to 200hp.
Next year the 300 hp jets are going in.

I made another. But why bother. Nitrous cam, nitrous pistons, nitrous rings. Car is set up for nitrous and there is not much of point to figure out how to race it NA. And i have no patience. Also why go slower

The rest of the guys have to put another pedal to get up to speed with me Everyone took the easy way out. Seems like racing a stick shift is a lost art or something.

LOL! You? No....not you?!?! LOL! Awesome. I love the 40% ramp up and only running 66.67% of the nitrous you plan on doing in order to sort it all out.
