Storing car question
I put a cover on it, and its waterproof, snow proof, etc. it has a vent on the front and on the back. My question is, should i crack the windows to let some air in? I won't be doing any work over the winter, its too goddamned cold. I'm going to start it every week or so, so i'm not worried about storage otherwise, just curious about the cover. the t-top leaks a little bit on the right side near the window when it POURS so the floor was damp when i put the cover on it. SO, crack the windows or not?
also, for those interested, the plan is probably:
rebuild engine (383 stroker, possibly FI)
full suspension - get rid of stamped steel parts, and new goodies all around
corvette brakes
12bolt/9inch/d60
full exhaust
interior - either stripped and caged or insulated, stereo and some new seats
por15 underside, fix any rust spots.
and fix the little things like the e-brake, cracked ground effects, weather stripping on pass side, misc interior bits (broke the plastic around the shifter, torn boot) short shifter, etc.
Its going to be a long build, but I figure once I get the suspension done and make it pass inspection (cats are bad) I'll put it back on the road while i build it up.
Why the dryer sheets? and plugging the exhaust?
