need help indentifying a 9 inch

Default need help indentifying a 9 inch

This kid I work with has a 9inch out of a 4th gen that he wants to let go cheap. I beleive a 3 channel has the ABS in the pumpkin and 4 ch has the reluctor wheel in each axle....am I correct? If not let me know....thanks guys

That is correct.....

3 channel will have the sensor on the pumpkin and will also have the reluctor wheel on the diff.

4 channel has the reluctors on the axles along with the sensors.

And if I remember correctly there is a way to convert from 3 to 4 channel or 4to 3 channel if you are putting it in a 4th gen that has the opposite.

I heard it was a pain do go from a 4 to a 3....you have to drill into the pumpkin I am assuming..

Yup, you would probably have to drill the housing somewhere, whats the rear you'll getting.

rear is 4 and my car is 3...moser 9in
