The vette looked real pretty that day right before the rear blew if I remember correctly. What a shitty day that really must have been it was funny however.

I've always wondered that.... hell when I used to go to car shows... I used to leave the rubber there, and what came off from a wash came off, people used to see that and get a kick out of it.

Just a curiosity I've had for some time now.
I have never taped my vette up...but the rubber gets old. I normally get the wheels wells good after the season, but on the paint it's annoying. Go to wash the car and it gets everywhere with all the other cleaning cloths and doesn't come out. Then it smears and ****. Also if it sits too long it gets even harder to come off.

Well well well..... Dschmitte just brought this little morsal to my attention.
Lovely pic ya got there atleast it was till that POS grandma's grocery getting convertible slug got in the way. I think you still need to take a look at the slips from that one boss. Be happy the snow's on the ground and not your auto trans 12flat. How do you get a name 10flat anyways? Is that from your 1/8mi times????

I can't wait to give you a good look at the taillights dissappearing in the sunset at cecil this year "BUDDY"!!!!!!!!! I'm leaving her all stock just for you!!! But dont worry there could be a set of ARH headers, Xpipe,Stainless works catback, CCW drag pack, lighter brakes, vararam, tune in the future asswhoooping of that poor convertible. But hey you can always drop the top and pick up your grandma for a nice SLOW ride to the grocery store.

As for the tape. It takes literally 5 minutes to tape the back area up. I drive my car to the track with the drag radials or bias ply tires on. Stones are easily picked up and chip the **** out of your rear quarters. I dont trailer my car to the track like puss.... well except for when the C5 rear decided to be a dirty *****. Plus after you're done right at the track if you wanted to go to car show afterwards you can peel and wipe you're done. Or the same for when you get home. Takes 1 minute to take off, no harsh chemicals used so no reducing the clearcoat etc. Just my opinion.... I didnt tape the rear quarters on my camaro and the rears when you took the rubber off was all chipped up.

So 14flat any wager you want on this little run with a STOCK!!! Corvette versus your car? Whats the mods again? LMAO!
