The wing just makes me faster, didn't you know?!!I really want more of the scotch now that I'm so low.
Bill- I think you may be right on the S2000 thing. I need to get rotors sooner or later. My to do list right now is just all fluids first, then rotors. Ohhh and gotta install my meth kit since I finally got around to picking up my drum of methanol!!! Whoot!

stuff n things, i die alittle everytime i passed by that place.
doesnt take a whole lot to get a consistent 12 second STi, so in your case 13.0
of course, your car is faster than mine so what does that say about my heap?
if you paid a decent price, i might be willing to go in with you on some meth when i go FI on the bird or if i decide the legacy needs some more umph. ill be beating the **** out of that TD04, hello instaspool

I think I paid all said and done ~$75 for a 5 gallon drum. I need to see how fast I suck it down. We need to get Dan to run the auto-x for fun as well. I think Mike with the SC vette is interested as well. It'll be a blast to get a bunch of us to auto-x. Too bad I can't run methanol at auto-x events. I'll just have to run H2O instead.
Also you gotta take me for a ride in your car with Konis in it, I am seriously considering getting some.

of course ill take your for a ride with the koni's. all i can say about them is that is that they are the one thing that hands down changes the car for the better.
if i could only do one mod to the car and budget was of no concern it would still be the shocks.

Yep. I can't wait for us STi's we usually pick up a TON of tq over whp. It's something crazy like 15whp and around 35lbs/tq. We'll see after I add it what I gain. It all depends on the dyno as we all know, but then again who cares as long as it's great in the real world.

I would love to go to one of these events to watch if not run. I have never tried anything like this before but always wanted to. Post up when it is...devens is close for me. I will drag Dan out too!!!
the events are held through the Boston chapter of the BMW CCA. gotta be a member to join up for most events but a membership is like 50 bucks a year.
its a very well run club, has a ton of events throughout the year at very reasonable cost.
there website will tell you when events are and what to do to register for them. biggest thing is registering early, they fill up FAST.
all makes and models welcome (i dont own a Bimmer)
at the rate ive been telling people, its gonna end up a fbody / subaru fest next season

yeah my 4-banger sux. I'll only make like 300wph and 340wtq on a loaded dyno.

Yeah for everyone else you gotta join in on the auto-x fun. It's a blast!! I did my first couple events last year. It's tons of fun even if you aren't experenced. You get to ride with who ever you want as well. Last event I got to ride with everything from a BMW 3 class to a Porsche 911.

I ran the TA at the Devens track once. Stalled autos aren't as fun. I just plopped it in 2n'd and ran the whole course that way. Now it has a 12 bolt and will probably have a drag bar in it soon, I don't think this car will be doing that again. Maybe someday I'll pick up another car for that kinda stuff. I'd still go again though to run cones or something (As long as it's not 100*).

Probably do ok. I was way better about the 3rd run I did. Not really good but respectible. It's fun for sure, but my car is just not setup for that kinda stuff. It's not a power course, your car needs to handle, I didn't hit wot once, you only get up to about 50 tops, the course is tight.
