Honestly, anything past a few inches sucks. Be it 12" or 36" Im fucked either way with a 96' Maxima lol
**** this, they are saying the weather is supposed to be like this for the next 20-30 years. With more and more snow becase of a natural cooling period. I guess Al Gore cleaned up too much CO2... Im buying a Hummer H1!
yahh...we got hit hard here at Rutgers. My car had like 2ft of snow on it and 3ft all around it........after an hour of shoveling and three snowball fights later I got most the snow out of the way.

WHAT?!?!? Care to back up that claim with some scientific proof? There's evidence that's coming out that 'global warming' was a politically motivated corruption of data.
Before you start spouting, remember one thing, I'm a scientist, and have numerous colleagues who are in the environmental industry.
Fact is, at one point in time, there were no polar ice caps or icebergs at all. Way before man had any notion of how to generate greenhouse gasses. Fact is, we have only been collecting and recording environmental temperatures and trends for a little over 100 years.
Also, this past summer was actually pretty mild. In Philly I think we had only 3-4 days above 90 degrees, and the average temp was down 2-3 degrees compared to recent years.

I need to edit the above photo caption LOL, after further viewing the rest of this thread I must admit that my car really wasn't all that buried at all compared to some of what you guys in PA/DE/MD had to deal with. 
Yeah we got only a few inches last time when you guys got totally douche'd...but this time we probably got almost as much what you got a few days earlier.

Lots of down trees taking out the power lines. We have been working 16 hour days since wed. And are scheduled on till at least tomorrow night. If you are in the se pa area and don't have power, you should have it soon. If you see me working and ask when you are gonna have you lights back on I'm gonna tackle you into the snow and bury you.
