Time for more scotch....
Glenmorangie 18 yr old
Caol Ila 12 yr old
Balvenie 15yr old
Dalwhinnie, McCallan, Aberlour and highland park are all good as well. You really don't need to spend much more than $40 to get a respectable bottle of scotch. I can't stand Johnnie Walker or any other scotch blend for that matter. Just try as many different single malts as you can and you'll find something you love. They just keep getting better, this stuff tastes like candy to me at this point.

MY favorite is probably Glenmorangie 18. Although They used to have a Port Wood, but its now called "Quinta Ruben" I REALLY like that stuff. I like to try new ones when they go on sale. i find that scoth is one of those items they always have a few different brands on sale, it makes trying new ones more tempting.
MMM candy
if you have the cash, just get the 18yr old instead.
Cigars I'd go for are: AVO xo's, ANY Drew Estate(Acid line), ANY Rocky Patel, and Gurka.

I've had cigars from all the above mentioned names. I am not much of a rocky patel fan, I hate the "Edge" cigars. Davidoff is good. AVO #2 is one of my favorites, its worth the $10 a stick. MASTI likes "Acids" which i think Davidoff makes but I don't like those much. My go to is the punch gran cru, for just under $5 its hard to beat as a good standard, The Oliva G and V series I highly recommend for the $.
With nice weather I like to have maybe 1 or 2 week if i have the time. I like to take my time and enjoy it on the deck or something, chill for a couple hrs. It's funny cause I despise cigarettes, but love a good cigar.
I've driven by 2 guys smoke shop, so i know where it is, place looks promising and i need to check it out. closer to me is Tobacco Haven which has a great selection and I also go to a little place in Keene that has a small walk in humidor but he keeps some quality smokes.

For scotch, one I don't think I saw mentioned:
Balvenie Doublewood - I love this stuff w/ a cigar
Had a unique brew over the weekend.
He'Brew Jewbalation 13 made by shmaltz
The stuff is really good, dark bock style. 13 malts, 13 hops, 13%.
Goes down too smooth for what it is, watch out. I recommend it even at $7 a bottle.
I also agree that the Macallan 18 (or even the 12) is a really decent bottle.
For the cigars, I think there are certainly non-cubans that are superior, but actual real cubans are very good (as long as you're not getting ripped off). By ripped off I mean paying $25 a stick for a monte cristo #2. I get my monte #2's for about $7 and R&J Belicosos for about $6. The only one that I can't get a "good" price on is Cohiba Siglo 6's, which still sell for upwards of $20.
But as for non-cubans, I really like Graycliff cigars from the bahamas (been to their "factory", very cool) and Padron. The Padron 1926 serie is amazing. A little pricey, but worth it.
