Default 68 Camaro pics

Here are some pics of a car thats been here for awhile.
Car came in as a 5 year project the owner has been building. It came to us running on 4 cylinders which the car has been to a few shops before with no luck. Mike here, went through the wiring and got it sorted out.

Car is custom everything with the drivetrain consisting of a big block Nelson Racing 572ci and Manual valve body 4L80 tranny.

Got the car running pretty good and the customer drove it away a few days ago.

The #'s are nothing great due to the converter slipping and we couldn't get a clean signal to read torque. It made like 450hp or so and ?? torque.

The car does have a ton of torque, then multiply that with the 3200 stall and 4.11 gears. We are probly going with 3.50 gears so he can feel the power.

On a side note, saw the car at a cruise night thursday. Was nice to see the customer enjoying the car after all the years he spent building it.Then the last year going shop to shop trying to get it to run.

That engine bay is stunning. The intake manifold alone is drop dead gorgeous.

That'a a killer looking car for sure. Love the 1st gen camaro, and that one is a killer example.

Someone spent alot of time and $ making that right, and the end result is awesome!

I know that car pretty well. The owner has spent a lot of time and money on that car. You will see that car at as many shows/cruises as possible this year.
