If my fiances are looking good at the end of the this upcoming snow season I'm going to be shopping for a low mile Corvette. I'd like something with 15,000 miles max. I just dont know if I'm going to be at the point where the C5's will really be old and not worth it and the new used C6's will kind of take the place of used C5's. I like the idea of the larger motor and the looks, starting with a better platform.

It's running and almost ready. man, that Slowhawk is picky. Everything has to be perfect.
Anyway, it dynod w/o a tune at 490 on his mustang. Running out of fuel so waiting on a fuel pump.
I drove it on 495 a bit what low/med end tourqe unbelievable. Felt stronger than my N/A 427. Cant say whats it going to do up top afraid to really get on it yet.
So, fuel pump good tune, don breaks it in for a week and I'm ready to go. Oh yea he's afraid I'll do something stupid beaking it in so he does it. That Don he's a smart guy.

The car idle's/drives like stock which is what we were shooting for.Mind you it's only a 228 Cam in a 418ci but the curve was still pulling ay 6400rpm.
The goal is mid 10's which we should hit.

Single fuel pump is in and we went with custom 72LB injectors.
Should be ready for the track as soon as we can get some street mileage on it and the oil cooler comes in and on eof don's famous tunes.
