Looks really good Dan,

I just ordered my whole batch of chemicals and pads for my Rotary. Looking to get some practice this week and start working on car before the fall.

Actually I got some Meguiar's All Purpous Cleaner Plus which is a major help for interiors. My first job is already lined up. Hopefully make 300 or so for a full ext. and interior detail.

Good luck with the setup, I don't know if I'll ever use a rotary guess I'm scared, I'm sacrificing a couple hrs for piece of mind. Yeah a full exterior, with correction, seal, wax, dressing, along w/ interior is a good $300 for sure. Almost all the cars we've done this year are family/friends that have been getting smoking deals, we are reaching the point where deals apply but the compensation is more realistic.

Even with a rotary its still labor intensive, unless you have done it top to bottom nobody appreciates the full amount of work.

I hate doing interiors so out of all the cars I've done I think I did one interior.

We got a new Prima line of compounds to try out. Suppose to be as good as menzerna for half the price, so well see. It does smell like candy and I've been tempted to eat it multiple times, haha.

The last few cars I've been compounding the glass too, one pass with a semi-aggressive mix, takes out all the water etching and stain. Worked amazing on my t-tops when I tried it.

haha, sucks for you your so darn far away. Last truck we did soup to nuts exterior took us 24hrs, thats 12hrs x's 2 guys with full correction. You know I'm interested, if I can get my partner in crime to go mobile we could probably bang it out in a crazy day.

Once we clear off a few more jobs if your lucky you might get a placeholder. Heck you might even get a deal if your nice.

Yeah good start, you end up buying so much stuff, lol. Autogeek and detailers domain do sales all the time like that, just watch those emails.

Working with my buddy between the both of us we usually have something if the other person is low or out, works out good that way. You absolutely need a good lighting setup and a garage.

I'd love to do a new goat. Would you make the drive to winchendon, and let us work on it for the better part of a day? We should have a couple openings next month.

Thats cool about the product swap. My bro has lots of stuff but he use Ardex and I have not really gotten to know the product yet, other then Seal B which I can associate it with Meg's 205.

If I had the room I would get a stand up unit for lighting but for now the Light gun will have to do and inspect as I go. My stuff should be here tommorrow and I can get to practicing.

Yea i am in Sutton, let me know when ya have some free time and what it would run me. I'd be up for cruising up there to hang out for the day.

I'll have to get the chips in the front and one in the door taken care of so they don't ruin your detailing job!!

cool sounds good.

I'll shoot you a pm later this month and we can figure something out once I get a couple more off my plate. I'll keep you as a placeholder though and we'll be in touch, should be do-able early next month.
