For now I want to keep the stock tranny,converter and rear. They offer a 9" rear housing with 300m shafts.Can take alot of power.

Don I have a new set of Nittos, I was gonna put them on the stock wheels, but ended up getting new wheels wider and ran 315's.. so let me know if you need a set of the 275 555r's

Don, nice looking car, can't wait to see it ripping up the track! The IRS will hold up, thats been the least of my worries on the GTO!

Don, the Airaid intake seems to work very well. Had one of them put down 400 rwhp on the dot with that and a tune. Guys called BS on the Camaro5 forums lol.

Already have an airad sitting here for the car

Highest I've seen with those mods is 390rwhp(my dyno). But there is always a freak car out there.

Nice car, I like that color. I wouldn't be too worried about the IRS not taking the power with some small upgrades, more the wheelhop issue, the camaro don't seem to have it any better off then the vette does, maybe worse.

Good luck with it.. should prove to be a fun project.

Well,it made it to 130 miles before it hit the dyno.Did some stock pulls,tuned and then tuned with cold air.These L99 motors suck..LOL Luckilly I'm turning it into a LS3 spec motor soon.

6l80E huh, those are expensive to replace.....not sure if its gonna like 10 or 9 second passes much. I guess they are pretty happy around 500rwhp, but much more is anybody's guess.

I'm curious in what torque converter options you will have, 1st gear is pretty damn high. might be looking for a lower STR converter around 3200 with a triple disk if its boosted.

I agree about the IRS though its the least of your worries, just replace the shafts with BMR units or something.
