Default Looking for some feedback on a local shop?

Just wondered if anyone had experience lately with a place called Stumps Garage in Pine Groove, PA. From a couple local friends I've talked to they have had good experience with them. Can anyone comment? The shop seems really nice and from what I heard is pretty respectable on tuning.

very good shop! been there with my car and truck and they did great work. check out www.motorcityforums.com for more feedback. ryan(owner of the shop) has worked on a bunch of higher horsepower cars so its not just a shop for oil changes and alignments.

Thats good to hear, what were you mods? And did you gain any power after the tune?

Had both my Corvette and Camaro tuned there. Would highly recommend Stump's for any work.

I used to rent out his shop before I got my dyno in West Chester, PA. His shop is setup nice and he has definitely made some good power and drivability out of some old friends cars.

He's a really upstanding guy too with a great team.

Good to hear, makes me feel more comfortable about going with him. Everyone I ask has nothing but good things to say about him and the fact that the shop is local to me and great prices makes me want to give them a shot

Ryan will definitely take care of you. He's a great guy and has been a good friend to local car clubs. He's in a new shop now, just down the road from the old shop. He also has an atv/motorcylce dyno.

I got some exhaust work done by Stump's on my TBSS and some other odds and ends. Ryan is very knowledgeable and his team is a big help.

Got this just from a tune on my basically stock Avalanche 2500, and he bent the pipes for the 2-2 right side exit, too (not easy to match them up, but he nailed it)

Good people, good prices, excellent, top notch work being done. What more could ya want.

Yea their dyno got flooded from the huge rain storm we had ahah. Sucks, today would have been perfect but he's going to let me know next week if I can come in for a tune as soon as the dyno is fixed. Can't wait!

Well the reason I'm going to try Stumps out for now is mainly cause of the distance and reviews. 30minute drive on the highway is nothing for a good dyno tune

You're making the right decision on who to go to.. There's a difference between someone who understands how the PCM meters fuel, and someone who basically tricks the PCM to get the fuel to flow.
